Workshop Series

The Town held a series of six virtual community workshops from October 2021 to March 2022 (Corte Madera’s Housing Element Workshop Series). The individual workshops were intended to build upon each other, providing an in-depth opportunity for our community to learn about existing Town housing policies, needs, and legal requirements. Most importantly, the Workshop Series, and the public engagement efforts interwoven within and around it, were designed to seek input from the Corte Madera community and create a regular forum to share ideas, raise important questions, and provide comments related to the Town’s Housing Element update process. The Workshop Series continues to serve as an important educational resource and foundational component of the Town’s efforts to effectively plan for new housing development, address various housing-related issues and needs, and strengthen the Town’s long-term economic and social resiliency. Materials for each workshop are provided below.
